On Tuesday, June 24th, the IRS announced an increase in the standard mileage rate effective July 1, 2008. The rate will increase to 58.5 cents per mile for all business miles driven July 1 through December 31, 2008.
The Employee Reimbursement System has been updated to reflect this increase and will automatically apply the appropriate rate based on the date of travel.
