August 5 -- ERS 2009 Upgrade

On Monday, August 3, 2009, the ERS 2009 Upgrade configuration began a limited deployment with 7 participating administrative areas:

• 012 Education
• 021 Liberal Arts
• 022 Communications
• 025 College of Information Sciences & Technology
• 031 ARL
• 046 Information Technology Services
• 076 Penn State Altoona.

Updates will be issued in the next few months regarding University-wide deployment of the upgrade.

ERS Email Notices

Multiple emails from the same sender to multiple recipients may be identified by mail servers as "spam" and sent to the "Junk Mail" or "Deleted" mail folder of email applications. If you use an email client, you should have the ability to create a rule that can bypass the spam filter for emails from "AutoNotification@concursolutions.com".

Contact your IT staff for assistance in the review of your email application settings. Most email applications can be adjusted to recognize specific email addresses as legitimate and move any such email to a specified mail folder.

Itemizing Expenses

Expenses should NOT be itemized unless:

• an expense needs to be charged to more than one account; OR

• the charge is for a Hotel/Motel expense which requires itemization

Email Notifications from ERS Vendor

ERS has implemented a re-direct page for URLs in email notifications from Concur Technologies.  Selecting a link in notifications from "AutoNotification@concursolutions.com" will present you with a page advising that you are being re-directed to WebAccess for logon to ERS.
